Prescription Drug Take-Back Program

About the ProgramThe Village offers a Prescription Drug Take Back Program that provides a safe, easy way to drop off unwanted medications anonymously. The Take Back Program aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. This Program is in partnership with the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District. Residents may dispose of unwanted prescriptions at the Woodridge Police Department from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. The Program will not accept needles, syringes, sharps, illegal drugs, or liquids. Medication must also be in a container or plastic bag with personal information removed.
