CALL 9-1-1 FOR EMERGENCIES AND NON-EMERGENCIESIf you need a police officer to respond to your location, dial 9-1-1 for all requested police services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Village of Woodridge is served by the enhanced 9-1-1 service, thus allowing fire, police, and other emergency services to be dispatched by dialing 9-1-1. Residents are also encouraged to register their cell phones with DuPage County's Smart 9-1-1, a free service that gives first responders valuable information during an emergency. Check out the Smart911 page to the left for more information.

COMMUNITY ROLL CALLSA roll call is a brief meeting at the start of every shift when police department supervisors meet with patrol officers to take attendance, check equipment, and inform the oncoming shift of any important and relevant information. At a community roll call, attendees have the opportunity to meet the patrol officers assigned to the area (i.e., the “beat”) and discuss local police issues, learn about the active partnership between the police department and Woodridge residents, and learn about crime trends. If you're interested in hosting a community roll call in your neighborhood, please contact Shaun O'Connor from the Community Outreach Unit.
