Introduction of The Woodridge Police DepartmentThe men and women of the Police Department are proud to serve the Village of Woodridge. Our mission statement is "to provide dedicated professional service and impartial law enforcement in an active partnership with the citizens of the Village of Woodridge to achieve a higher quality of life for all."

The Woodridge Police Department provides a full array of law enforcement services: Tactical Unit, Traffic Unit, Crime Prevention, GRIT, Records, and Community Service Officers. CALL 9-1-1 FOR EMERGENCIES AND NON-EMERGENCIESIf you need a police officer to respond to your location, dial 9-1-1 for all requested police services, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Village of Woodridge is served by the enhanced 9-1-1 service, thus allowing fire, police, and other emergency services to be dispatched by dialing 9-1-1. Residents are also encouraged to register their cell phones with DuPage County's Smart 9-1-1, a free service that gives first responders valuable information during an emergency.
