As one option, Groot will collect electronics at the curb for a fee and with 48 hours advance notice. This includes computers, monitors, TVs, printers, DVDS/VCRs, fax machines, radios, toner cartridges, microwaves, vacuums and small appliances (coffee makers, hair dryers, etc.). The optional program cost (with stickers or pay ahead) for removal of electronic devices (E-waste) at the curb by Groot is:
- E-Waste items to fill one (1) grocer paper bag size -5 stickers
- TV/Monitors, with maximum weight limit of 50 lbs. -15 stickers
- Larger TV’s (50 lbs or more) require a special pick-up
To dispose of any of these items curbside, residents must call Groot Industries 48 hours in advance.
