Downers Grove Township Senior Services provides older adults with vital resources and referral information such Dial-A-Ride transportation access and events such as Senior Survival Skills, Computer and Art Classes through their partnership with People’s Resource Center, Smart Driver classes and CarFit through AARP, a Car Care Clinic, needlecraft, seminars, games, and more. County of DuPage Information & Assistance
DuPage County provides information to seniors, their families, and other community agencies on how to access programs, services and benefits that are available to older individuals. This service is available at no cost. DuPage Senior Citizens Council
The DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer driven organization, devoted to enriching senior life. Since 1975, DSCC has been providing a variety of programs and services to help seniors live safely in their homes and provide them the opportunity to maintain their well being. Some programs include:
DuPage Township
DuPage Township offers senior services at the Levy Senior Center (251 Canterbury Lane, Bolingbrook, IL 605440) serving seniors of DuPage Township along with outlying communities. The Center provides exceptional recreation; state approved programming, vital camaraderie, hot lunches through the Senior Services of Will County’s “Meals on Wheels” program, activity clubs, local and extended trips. Lisle Township
Lisle Township offers senior services such as a Seniors' Free Transit Ride, license plate discounts, RTA Senior Citizen Reduced Fare Program, and more. Lisle Township is also a partner of Triad, whose mission is to enrich the lives and safety of all senior citizens in Lisle and Naperville Townships. Triad is an additional organization that offers events and resources for seniors.
