Dear Woodridge Neighbors and Businesses,
National Police Week is a special time to honor those in law enforcement. In Woodridge, we are so fortunate to have a dedicated and professional police department committed to maintaining a safe community. I invite you to show support for our law enforcement officers by installing a blue light bulb outside of your home for National Police Week from May 15-21, 2022.
The Woodridge Home Depot, located at 7200 Woodward Avenue, is generously selling blue light bulbs at a discounted price. The Home Depot has a display at the store with the blue light bulbs available, and the supply is limited. Please show your community spirit and thank those in law enforcement who help keep Woodridge safe. I know the officers patrolling our roadways at night will see the blue lights and understand that the blue glow is a strong symbol of community support. During this Police Week, please consider replacing your regular porch or outdoor house light with a blue light bulb. Let’s light Woodridge blue and support our police officers.
