Update to Village of Woodridge Mask Policy

The Village of Woodridge requires face masks inside Village-operated buildings based on CDC guidelines for all people over the age of two - regardless of vaccination status.

The CDC issued new COVID-19 Guidance in response to rapidly rising COVID-19 cases amongst unvaccinated persons and the highly contagious Delta variant. The CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and DuPage County Health Department recommend that all individuals, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, wear face masks indoors when in areas with “substantial” and “high” transmission rates.

Businesses are urged to align their practices with CDC guidance and encourage employees and customers to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective, and vaccination is available to everyone age 12 and older at no cost. Getting your COVID-19 vaccination is essential to reducing the case count in Woodridge and protecting those who cannot be vaccinated, such as all children under the age of 12 and immunocompromised individuals.
