Woodridge 2020 Water Rates are Changing

Beginning January 1, 2020, residents will see two changes on their water bill:

  1. The Fixed Water Maintenance Fee (based on meter size) has increased 10% to cover the increased costs of keeping our current water infrastructure properly maintained and delivering clean water to residents. The average bi-monthly increase for the average residential user (3/4 inch meter) is $2.50.
  2. You will also see a new Capital Improvement Fee on your water bill in the amount of $0.30 per 1,000 gallons of water used. This will help address the Village's aging water system by planning for the costs of significant infrastructure improvements over the coming years. The bi-monthly increase for the average residential user (8,600 gallons) is $2.58.
The regular water and wastewater rates remain the same at $8.28 and $0.90 per 1,000 gallons used, respectively.
