Social Worker - Felicia Acosta, LSWFelicia Acosta is a licensed social worker who proudly assists the Woodridge Police Department by providing resources, counseling, and case management services for individuals and families. She has several years of experience with the community, youth advocacy, the justice system, and the geriatric population. She has worked with youth as an advocate in the juvenile justice system, provided groups for the youth in school detention level, and provided support to families impacted by domestic violence. Acosta graduated with a Master’s degree in social work from the University of St. Francis and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/paralegal studies. In addition, she has a specialty degree in geriatrics. In her experience, advocating for the community is the best way to serve others.
