"It provides detailed information about where, when, and what types of crimes occurred. In addition, we will produce videos featuring officers providing safety tips and insight into crime trends. So whether you're wondering what police activity is happening in your neighborhood or you'd like to know the latest tips to improve safety, the information is just a click away with the Woodridge Police Information Portal."
How it Works
DU-COMM, the intergovernmental agency that provides public safety communications to Police, Fire, and EMS agencies, shares the raw data from emergency calls placed to dispatch. The Woodridge Police Department and DU-COMM, staff can categorize and plot these service calls for residents on a map. Please note that this website provides individuals with a general overview of incidents falling into multiple public safety categories. As a result, the information provided does not reflect the total number of calls and activity. The Information Portal will not include any personal or identifying information in order to protect the privacy of individuals involved in the incidents reported.
The Woodridge Police Department will update the content frequently. Please bookmark the Information Portal to help stay informed about our community. The Information Portal is mobile device friendly.
