Residential Housing Starts and Reinvestment

Residential Housing Starts

Single-family home construction has been on the rise in Woodridge since 2013. In 2019, the Village issued 80 permits for new home construction.

A majority of the 80 homes were built in three residential developments - Uptown at Seven Bridges, Woodview Townhomes and Hobson Hill.  Uptown at Seven Bridges is a 94-unit townhome development by Pulte Homes located in the mixed-use Seven Bridges area along Route 53. Woodview Townhomes, built by M/I Homes, are 53 units located at the northeast corner of 63rd Street and I-355. Hobson Hill is a 43-lot single-family residential subdivision by Pulte Homes, located southeast of Prentice Drive and Hobson Road.

Three other single-family subdivisions are currently under construction as well. Foxwood Estates is a 17-lot subdivision located on the east side of Dunham Road, south of 75th Street. On the south end of Woodridge, along Bluff Road, sits the 58-lot Oak Bluff Estates subdivision. Gallagher & Henry’s Farmingdale Village Unit 26 is a 107-lot subdivision off Heritage Parkway, west of Lemont Road.
